WEEK 17

COMPLETE RESULT 

Our supervisor, Madam Zaridah has been very considerate and kind towards us. She has given enough time for us to finish our logbook and also report. I have completed my proposal report according to the appointed format as been taught in our briefing before. I have a lot of things to add to my project for better improvement in the future.

WEEK 16

 CHECK THE PLAGIARISM

Today I will check all of my report that has plagiarism or not. I use the Grammarly Apps to check it. In these Apps, it detected and found 8 writing issues in punctuation and grammar. So it easy for me to check and correct the report before passing for our Supervisor.

WEEK 15

 BRIEFING THESIS

For this day, I and all student Fyp this year invited to join this class and conducted from lectures in UNIKL to discussing thesis, plagiarism, and , many more. The detail at the figure above. In this I learning about how to make a perfect final year project.

WEEK 14

 MAKE REPORT

I start making the report at week 14. Inside this report, we have important things have it at the report  for example :

3. objective
4. problem statement 
5. literature review
6. methodology
7. result
8. recommendation                     

For example above I separate at less than 5 chapters to be the make the perfect report.

WEEK 13

PRESENTATION DAY

 

We had to register beforehand and we will be given the group number. We were grouped according to the supervisor's name. Alhamdulillah, I think I did good enough this time. Madam Zaridah gave me some knowledge with me and also give me some useful ideas to make my project better in the future.

WEEK 12

 

SLIDE PRESENTATION

This week should be the week for the presentation of the project, and the day is scheduled to be on Wednesday on 21 October 2020 but this year is special because we just must present online at TEAMS APPS.

WEEK 11

 DISCUSS WITH SUPERVISOR

I and my partner discuss with the supervisor about the project at WhatsApp and Microsoft Teams apps because nowadays you know the issues about COVID 19. So, we use technology to communicate. On this day, our supervisor helpful this project to complete it which is she gives the ideas on how to make this project run smoothly.

BRIEFING ABOUT FYP

The objective of the briefing is as below:

• discuss the presentation day on week 13.
• give reminders about the submission/important dates.
• learn about the format.

The content of the briefing is as follows.

• The presentation will be on 21 OCTOBER 2020 and will start at 2 pm - 5 pm.
• Do slide presentation.
• In the presentation, it is compulsory to have:

MICROCONTROLLER WORKSHOP             

                                                                                                         

This figure actually a microcontroller it always uses for diploma students. For this day I study how this microcontroller work, benefit, and many more. I get new a lot of experience and knowledge. For my product, we choose a microcontroller like ARDUINO UNO because that is many benefits and functions

than ESP 8266 and it suitable to uses.

BRIEFING WITH TEAMs APPS

 

First of all, this day is the first day we meet and brief for the diploma section. This day they discuss how the flow to make a report, logbook, and many more. In conclusion, the contents for this week were clearly understood by students. This can help the student to be well prepared in doing a complete thesis.

WEEK 7

There are how is work:

1. Measure a dimension at the material.
2. Cutting the material.
3. Combine all parts to be the main casing like house concept.
4. Arrange all electronic devices, apparatus, and many more.

The figure above is our block diagram which is the process of how to accomplish our product.

Brief explantations about this block diagram are as follows :

INPUT

• I sketch the design like a house concept and planning an actual design.

PROCESS

• I assemble all component, equipment, and apparatus such as electronic device, led, cooling fan, and many more
• Using suitable material for the main casing like the Acrylic sheet.

OUTPUT

• Modify our product which is our roof and door can open and close. It can easier to work flow.
• Troubleshooting for several electronic devices.
• Run progress.

I will discuss the flow to develop for our project. Before start, we discuss the plan. Firstly, we find the tool, equipment, and apparatus for our product such as some sensors, lamps, fans, and tools for our product was decided. Then we design our product before building the prototype. After that, we arrange all of the equipment and apparatus that were plan and testing the product until it complete.

We survey a suitable material, equipment, and many more such as Acrylic Sheet, plywood, and many more. The figure below example the apparatus, equipment, and material that can be used for our product.

WEEK 4

PLAN AND SKETCH 

                                                                                                                                        

 

This figure is our product we plan our project like a home concept. We think is a suitable shape that will be using. The benefits, the reason why we use the acrylic sheet. First of all, the raw material is plastic, so we think it a suitable material for our project. Therefore, why we choose a clear acrylic sheet instead of choosing any other type because we want the outside and inside of our project can be seen.

INTRODUCTION

First of all, I and my partner discuss the project which is a title, objective, summary, and many more with our supervisor. 

Title: Implementation of Room Automation with Cloud-Based Monitoring System.

Objective:

• Disable people
• Home application
• Apply at Domestic building.                    

Summary :

The implementation automation of room with cloud monitor system is our product.  As the time spent inside the workplace and the amount of comfort rises, the workplace room is altered to automatically monitor and observe different parameters.

She is my supervisor. She is a lecturer at Universiti Kuala Lumpur and she also guides my final year project. Her name is Madam Zaridah Binti Mat Zain. My partner and I choose the right person to guide our project. She also gives us a lot of experience and knowledge. The mentoring she gives us truly had a positive impact on our lives and we can never thank her enough.

My name is Mohammad Firdaus bin Mohammad Zaidi and for a partner, the name is Nik Mohammad Zharif bin Nik Mohammad Zuber and us diploma engineering technology in electrical and electronic. We decide to do this project together. Besides, we also decide on the title of the project in this final year project. I think I choose the right partner to do this project and we hope this project useful for users.
